She was predeceased by: her parents, Oakley Allen and Decie Evelyn Johnson Lee; her husband Marcus Ray Groce; and her siblings, Richard Edward Lee (Mary), Paul Lee, Delmer Lee (Alma), Arvist Lee (Ruby), Herman Oakley Lee and Lena Mae Fouler (Eugene).

She is survived by: her sister-in-law Geneva Lee of Columbia, KY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home (210 Greensburg St, Columbia, KY 42728). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
