He was predeceased by: his father Phillip Stapp. He is survived by: his mother Patsy Foskey Stapp of Russell Springs; his wife Shelia Popplewell Stapp; his sons, Quinton Stapp of Columbia, Christian Stapp (Ashley Caldwell) of Jamestown, Timothy Stapp (Tiana) of Albany, Justin Stapp of Albany and Malcolm Brown of Bowling Green; his stepson Caleb Russell of Columbia; and his siblings, Jason Stapp (Kristy) of Russell Springs and April Robertson (Lonnie) of Russell Springs. He is also survived by his four grandchildren.
