He was predeceased by: his father Ruben Murphy; and his brothers, Tommy and Mickey Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Kimbler Murphy of Columbia, KY; his daughter Mirah Murphy of Columbia, KY; and his sister Bernice Burton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends and relatives.
