It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margie Kathleen Breeding Coomer of Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Moore Rice Sr. and Flora Eva Hovious Rice; her husbands, William B. Breeding and Rev. John L. Coomer; her brother George M. Rice Jr. (Christine); and her children, Donald, Kenneth, Harold Coomer and Margie Roach.
She is survived by: her children, Doug Breeding (Kim), Nancy Smith (Buddy), Rev. John Carroll Coomer (Janice) and Nannette Coomer Johnson; her grandchildren, Erin (Gerard), Willie (Klara), Melissa (Pete) and John David; her great grandchildren, Ernie, Caroline and Thomas; her nieces, Sue Coomer, Lou Anne Coomer, Janet Biggs and Cherita McFarland; and her nephew Joey Caldwell. She is also survived by several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, In laws and other family members.
