With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luzena Hamlett of Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Luzena Hamlett to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hamlett and Eliza Ellen Murrell Hamlett; and her siblings, Porter, Kelly, James Hamlett, Polly England and Edra Reliford.

She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Katina Furkin (Terry) of Milltown, Belinda Gordon (Jason) of Edmonton, Kim Hamlett of Columbia, Jason Reliford (DeAnna) of Columbia and Richard "Shorty" Hamlett (Sharon) of Columbia.

Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grissom-Martin Funeral Home (200 Campbellsville St, Columbia, KY 42728). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate a donation to Hospaurs-Green River which can be left at the funeral home.
