She was predeceased by: her parents, John Roy Coomer and Exie Iona Coomer (Parish); and her siblings, Holland Coomer, Sallie Bennett, Rollin Coomer, Evelyn Van Heck, Coy Coomer and George Coomer.
She is survived by: her son Wallace Rayburn Murphy (Colleen); her husband Jimmie Marion Murphy of Chance, Kentucky.; her daughter Sheila Murphy Romain (Mark Romain); her grandchildren, Amanda Murphy, Caitlin Baker (Jacob), Michael Murphy (Arianne), Kelly Bryan (Robert), Bethany East (Kevin) and Zachary Romain; her great grandchildren, Avery Louise East and Avery Kozeluh; and her brother Butch Coomer. She is also survived by several other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home (210 Greensburg St, Columbia, KY 42728). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
