She was predeceased by: her parents, James Denton and Martha Viola Hadley Burton; her husband Raymond Earl Burton; and her siblings, Ward Russell, Thomas, Malcolm, Joseph, Revone, Eva and Melissa Burton.

She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Sullivan (Keith) of Elkhorn, KY and Terry Burton (Sandra) of Newville, PA; her grandson Alan Burton (Anne) of Roanoke, VA; and her great grandchild Brandon Burton of Roanoke, VA..
