He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard Downey and Elva Rogers Downey; his wife Celia Miller Downey of Columbia, One; his daughter Daphne Judd (Tim) of Summersville, Two; and his sisters, Connie Burress of Milltown and Karen Roy of Richmond, Several.
The family requests no flowers be sent but a donation be made to Milltown United Methodist Church which can be left or mailed to the funeral home.
