He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Tweedy Gilpin of Columbia, KY; his children, Brenda Bennett (Nathan) of Columbia, KY, Sharon Pickett (Mark) of Columbia, KY, Mark Gilpin (Barbara) of Columbia, KY, Melissa Karnes (Rodney) of Columbia, KY and Anthony Gilpin (Brittany) of Columbia, KY; his grandchildren, Josh Bennett (Ashley), Matt Pickett, Peyton Hurst (Randy), Riley Keltner, Kacie Burton (Tyler) and Mason Karnes; his great grandchildren, Kayden, Kaylence, Kobie Bennett, Kaylie, Tripp Hurst and Hayden Burton; and his sister-in-law Thelma Gilpin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
