He is survived by: his wife Joy Dudley Stearns; his children, Candy Brinley (Phillip), John Stearns Jr. (Angie) and Eric Steven Stearns; his siblings, Orville, Eva Mae, Jimmy, Eddie and Roy; his grandchildren, Ashley (James), Justin, Shelly (Daniel) and Joshua (Brooke); his great grandchildren, Isaac, Brinley, Coletin, Samantha, Josiah, Jonah, Kinsley, Hadley and Tatum; his friends, Phil and Norma Clark; and his pets, Mandy, Bud and Thomas.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McFarland-Troutman-Proffitt Funeral Home (111 N Bardstown Rd, Mt Washington, KY 40047). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
