Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Joan Lawless Loy of Columbia, Kentucky, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 80, on December 5, 2020. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvester Cole and Elsie Cole; her former husband Gene; her daughter Deborah Jo; and her sister Julia.

She is survived by: her husband Marshall Loy; her son Scott Lawless (Melanie); her grandson Calder; her children, Cheryl Corbin (Barry) and Steven Loy (Molly); her grandchildren, Brooke Walker, Kayla Stockton (John), Lindsay Dunbar (Seth), Nicole Loy and Spencer Loy; and her siblings, Nolan Cole (Judy) and Linda Bea Jackson (Ralph). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In accordance with the government directives during this time of pandemic, the family will conduct a private graveside service on Thursday, December 10, 2020.
