He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lawrence Verner and June Etta Dart Cornell; his wife Melinda "Mindy" Hopkins Cornell of Breeding; his daughter Cassaundra Cornell-MacKenzie (Jamie) of Breeding; his nephew Tyler Austin Cornell (Bailey); his daughter Coralyn of San Diego, CA.; and his brother Larry Lyndon Cornell (Gayle) of North Carolina.
