He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Slusher and Lula Myrtle Skaggs Slusher; his father-in-law Russell; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Asher and Charles Irvan.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Reed Slusher; his sons, Cody Russell Slusher (Molly) and James Brandon Slusher (Pearl); his grandchildren, James Walker Slusher, Mason Charles Russell Slusher and Sawyer Alexandria Slusher; and his siblings, Robert Wilson Slusher, Lucy Katherine Irvan, Mary Lou Proffitt (Bob), Linda Ann Asher, Hester Saylor (David), Patsy Ayers (Russell) and Alice Morton (Bob). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
