He was predeceased by: his parents, J. C. McGowan and Frances Moss McGowan; and his siblings, Frankie McGowan and Beverly Lane. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Revis McGowan of Columbia; his children, Cortney Neal Mooney (Charles) of Columbia, KY and Kyle Grant McGowan (Lindsay) of Jeffersonville, IN; his grandchildren, Colby Cowan (Charity), Katelyn Cowan, Case Cowan, Clay Mooney, Molly McGowan and Sebastian Farmer; and his great grandchildren, Cora and Layne Cowan. He is also survived by several other friends and relatives.
