He was predeceased by: his parents, Haywood Harris and Cora Farley Harris; and his siblings, Loretta Patterson, Ronnie Harris, Kermit Harris and Carlos Harris.

He is survived by: his children, Kristian Harris (Tony Gibson) of Tompkinsville, KY, Megen Harris Harden (Mylez Payton Goodman) of Cleveland, TN, Cori Harris of Cleveland, TN, Makayla Harrison (Joey Mann), Kelcie Wendry and Jared Harrison; and his sisters, Betty Rice of Carrollton, KY, Irene Curtis of Columbia and Mildred "Pearl" Holliman of Columbia. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
