He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Ingram and Sallie Elliott Ingram; his wife Inishia Cheatham Ingram; and his siblings, Theron Ingram, Jr., Robert Ingram, Doris Graves and Barbara Brison.

He is survived by: his son Roy; his daughter-in-law Gail Ingram of Columbia; his daughter Patricia; his son-in-law Howard Britt of Jamestown; and his sisters, Jeanette Jones of Columbus and Ivory Treakle of Washington, D. C. He is also survived by Seven grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
