He was predeceased by: his former wife Susanne LaFond (Jolley); his parents, Doris Duensing (Mel) and Glenn LaFond; and his brothers, Wray LaFond and Leslie LaFond.
He is survived by: his wife Mary LaFond (Curry); his children, John LaFond (Becky), Judy LaFond (Mike Craig), Tom LaFond (Melissa), BJ LaFond, Isaac LaFond (Kristen), Caleb LaFond (Anna-Catherine), Josh LaFond (Diana) and Drew Curry (Hayley); and his sister Patricia Langland (John). He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
