He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Branham Cowan of Columbia, KY; his children, Kavin Cowan (Nena) of Florida and Gina Douget of Mississippi; his stepson Bobby Bennett of Columbia, KY; his grandchildren, Nathan Bennett of Russell Springs and Delany Bennett of Maine; and his brother Kenneth Cowan (Marlene) of Columbia, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
