She is survived by: her husband Thomas Andrew Akin of Columbia; her daughter Dana Michele Estes; her grandchildren, Amber Kadence Estes, Aaron Caitlin Estes, Autumn Blaze Reynolds and Jacob Ryan Kellogg; her great grandchildren, Ellie Scarlett Kahill and Theodore Bennett Kahill; her brother Ralph Edward Cook; and her sister-in-law Ann Hoagland Durham of Greensburg. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Norton Children's Hospital, which can be made at the funeral home.
