He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Burton Holmes; and his sister Phyllis Jane Holmes. He is survived by: his father Rollin Holmes; his wife Jeanetta Mae Foster Holmes; his children, Melanie Holmes Willis (Lloyd), Lyndsey Holmes Schlabach (Ervin) and Christopher Rollins Holmes; his grandchildren, Kaleb Willis (Brooklynn), Laura Coffey (Chris), Landon Jessie (Brooke) and Conner Ford; his great grandchildren, Rylee Willis, Danny Kase Willis, Lanie Coffey and Bowen Jessie; his siblings, Delaine Corbin (Tommy), Janet Lynn Turner (Eugene), Barry Absher and Marsha Lawhorn; and his grandchildren, Dan (Ruthie), Andy (Verna), Eddie (Catherine), Elmer (Ella), Eli (Catherine), Ervin (Leanna), Melvin, Robert, William, Miriam, Lizzie, Susie, Leroy (Rachel) and Barbara (Roman).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 from 6:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Bloomington Chapel Church (55 Denton Rd, Columbia, KY 42728).
