He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Curry and Hazel Marie Burton Curry; his brother-in-law Roy Veirs; and his nephew Payton Altman. He is survived by: his children, Tessa Lynae Curry (Garry Bryant) of Campbellsville and Ryan Curry of Columbia; his stepchildren, Erika of Campbellsville, Randy Sprowles of Campbellsville and Allison Simpson of Campbellsville; his grandchildren, Micah Curry, Savanna Taylor, Brooklyn Taylor, Quentin Curry and Cooper Curry; his stepgranddaughter Ava Kate Sprowles; his great grandchild Memphis Taylor; and his siblings, Ralph (Treva Curry), Steve (Phyllis Curry), Terry (Rhonda Curry), Jean Stargel of Columbia, Judy (Jessie Bailey), Beverly Veirs (Davey Coffey) and Sondra Curry Altman (Barry Harlow) of Greensburg. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Gary Curry Grandchildren Scholarship Fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
