He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Downey and Ortella Keltner Downey; and his sister Linda Karnes. He is survived by: his niece Kim Grant of Columbia One; his nephew Eric Karnes of Columbia; and his close friends, Vicki, Jeff Hatcher, Mark Baker and Chad Brown.
