She was predeceased by: her parents, Zeno Lawhorn and Ruby Loy Lawhorn; her husband J. D. Montgomery; and her brothers, Kenneth and Donald Lawhorn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Burris of Columbia, KY, Sherri Crawhorn (Ralph) of Richmond, KY and Robin Fletcher of Columbia, KY; her grandchildren, Jeremy Burris (Tiffany), Shawna McCartney (Doug), Tara Franklin, Christopher Fletcher (Renee) and Cameron Fletcher (Lauren); and her sisters, Yvonne Marshall of Columbia, KY and Geneva Vance of Franklin, TN. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home (210 Greensburg St, Columbia, KY 42728). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Shiloh Cemetery Fund and can be left at the funeral home.
