Evelyn Komosa Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Evelyn Komosa of Columbia, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2025 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Denney "Jack" and Edith Frances Jones Beard; her husband Adam Komosa; and her brother Dennis Hamilton Beard. She is survived by: her caregivers, Janet Antle, Sheila Lynch, Heather Bow, Julie Neal and Mardi Janes.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grissom-Martin Funeral Home (200 Campbellsville St, Columbia, KY 42728). A prayer will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cane Valley Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Ms. Komosa requested that donations go the Lindsey Wilson College in her memory.
