He was predeceased by: his parents, Forest Burton and Elzada Streeval Burton; and his brother Darrell Gene Burton. He is survived by: his wife Carol Burton of Columbia; his children, Marty Burton (Rebecca) of Russell Springs, KY, Roxann Lawless (Mark Allen) of Jamestown, KY and Stacey Biggs (Craig) of Lucas, KY; his grandchildren, Ashley Stearns, Marketta Lawless Mayner (Mason), Alex Biggs (Courtney) and Mason Biggs; his siblings, Geneva Goodin, Clarice Pendleton, Rachel Pike, Tony Burton, Ronald Burton, Joe Burton and Dean Piercy; and his close friend Katie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Charities or the charity of your choice.
