He was predeceased by: his parents, Delean Abston Thrasher and Brenda Faye Bruton Thrasher; and his sisters, Clara Barnes and Sue Cash. He is survived by: his sons, Glendell Thrasher (Bonnie) of Columbia and Greg Thrasher (Tammy) of Columbia; and his grandson Jason Thrasher (Makayla) of Columbia. He is also survived by one great grandchild, four step-grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren.

Due to Covid-19 virus and in accordance with Governor Beshear's orders and the CDC, there will be a private graveside service on Friday at the Haven Hill Cemetery.
