He is survived by: his children, James Manning of Columbia, Kenneth Barrett of Columbia and Melissa Layport of Danville; his great grandchildren, James Allen Kelsey, Melinda Lanaye Hosier and Morgan Nevaeh Manning; and his siblings, Edith Brown of Arkansas, Johnny Ray McQueary of Brandenburg, KY and Jimmy Manning of Brandenburg, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
