He is survived by: his wife Dellanna Haley Murphy of Columbia; his children, Tanya Marie Murphy of Minnesota, Tara Murphy Morris of Minnesota, Donald Jay Murphy of Minnesota, James Ketcher of Minnesota, Donnie Murphy of Columbia, Dale Murphy of Columbia, Michael Krebs of Columbia and Julie Rushing of Louisville; and his siblings, Harold Whitaker of Louisville and Ann Tyler of Florida. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family memorial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
