He is survived by: his wife Linda Akin Bennett of Columbia Two; his sons, Adam Bennett of Columbia One and Richard Burris of Columbia One; his sister Wanda Bagby of Chicago; and his grandchildren, Wesley Burris, Brooke Burris, Nathan, Jeremiah Pierce and Cherish Little.
