He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Rooks and Flossie Burton Rooks; and his brother Raymond Rooks. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Sue Campbell Rooks of Columbia, KY; his children, Peggy Redmon (Archie) of Columbia, KY, Daryl Rooks (Melissa) of Columbia, KY, David Rooks (Melissa) of Columbia, KY and Darren Rooks (April) of Columbia, KY; and his siblings, Ruth McFarland of Columbia, Leonard Rooks (Brenda) of Edinburgh, IN. and Garry Rooks (Leanna) of Edinburgh, IN.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
