She was predeceased by: her father Marvin Harmon; her husband Sam Stapleton; and her brothers, Ed Joe, Elvin "Buddy" and Jerry Harmon.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Dudgeon (Billy) of Campbellsville, KY, Roger Stapleton of Columbia, KY and Harold Stapleton (Sherri) of Russell Springs, KY; her grandchildren, April Dudgeon, Megan Bailey (James), Skylar Stapleton (Kaitlyn) and Liley Stapleton; her great grandchild Garner Stapleton; her granddaughters, Lisa Newton and Teresa Matthews; her close friend Marvina King; and her sister-in-law Della Jean Harmon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
