He is survived by: his children, Joey Cowan (Christiana) of Conroe, Dewayne Cowan (Marla) of Columbia One and Elizabeth Cowan of Columbia Two; his siblings, Ronnie Cowan of Columbia, Billy Cowan of Columbia, Betty White of Columbia, Kay Turner of Columbia, Faye Stotts of Columbia and Barbara Jones of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Brantley, Brayden, Braylee, Asher, Axtyn and Slayton.
