He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Riley and Fannie Keltner Compton; and his siblings, Harold, Jimmy, Eddie Compton and Helen Keltner.

He is survived by: his daughters, Glenda Wilson (Dale) of Lockport and Deanna Price (Darrell) of Jabez, KY.; and his siblings, Danny Joe Compton (Anne) and Judy Coomer. He is also survived by Eight grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
