She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Earls and Laura Bell McInteer Earls; her husband Ray Grant; her children, Sue Janes and Lonnie Grant; and her siblings, Reno Earls, Pearl Kelley, Zelma Watson, Basil Earls, Venus Earls, Refus Brock, Finis Earls and Medie Bishop.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Tammy Hatcher (Mark) of Columbia, KY, Chris Janes (Wendy) of Columbia, KY, Lisa Walkup (Heath) of Columbia, KY, Eric Grant (Marianne) of Columbia, KY, Latasha Gist (Robby) of Columbia, KY and Josh Grant (Heather) of Columbia, KY; and her son-in-law Ronnie Janes (Connie) of Columbia, KY. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
