It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Kay Jones of Columbia, Kentucky, who passed away on December 16, 2023, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Presley Chelf and Pauline Chelf; and her sister Marion Evelyn Chelf (J. L. Jones). She is survived by: her sons, David Jones (Becky) of Columbia, KY and Todd Jones (Christina) of Dixon, KY; her grandchildren, JT Jones (Carrie), Clayton Jones (Emily), Jaylyn Bailey (Cara) and Jamian Bailey (Miranda); her great grandchildren, Rose Michelle Jones, Julia Belle Jones, Reid Bailey and Nolan Bailey; her sisters, Trudy Harden of Bowling Green, KY and Maurita Herron (Van) of Knifley, KY; and her children, Cindy Keltner, Sherry Powell, Bobby Powell, Pat Burton, Doris Moore and Faye Townsend. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
