Carney Sr.; her former husbands, Junior Brown and Bill Ritter; her son James Warren Brown, Sr.; her grandson James Warren Brown, Jr. (Caitlyn) of Memphis, TN; her great grandchild Beaux Brown of Memphis; and her stepchildren, Robert Carney, Jr. of Indiana, Barbara Gilland of Indiana, Beverly Wilkerson of Indiana, James Carney of Indiana, Billy Ritter of Indiana, Teresa Sharp of Indiana, Ronnie Ritter of Indiana and Valerie Ritter of Indiana. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Due to the Covid-19 virus and in compliance with Gov. Beshear's orders and CDC, there will be a private service on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at the Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with burial in the Haven Hill Cemetery.
