She is survived by: her spouse Gerald Jeff Thurmond; her daughters, Nancy Thurmond Hays (Gene Hays) of Wilmington, NC and Georgann Steigerwald Flowers (Jim Flowers) of Columbia Two; her grandchild Anita Jeane Hays Blye; her great grandchildren, Erin Simone Blye, Benjamin Franklin Blye, Harriet Maxine Blye, Alexander Woodruff Flowers and Cecilia Marie Flowers Graveside; and also George Roberts Steigerwald.
