He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Henry and Mattie Ella Rooks Floyd; and his siblings, James, Charles C. Floyd, Thelma Wells and Nellie Corbin.

He is survived by: his wife Julia Emilene Floyd of Columbia; his daughters, Anita Pike (Tim) of Russell Springs, KY, Cindy Floyd of Mt. Washington, KY, Lori Ann Floyd of Mt. Washington, KY and Amy Floyd of Lexington, KY; his grandchildren, Tim "Andy" Pike (Angela), Jacob Pike (Melissa Raines), Devon Pike (Nathan Acree), Logan Godby, Hannah Godby and Abigayl Godby; his great grandchildren, Garrett, Emmy, Breanna Pike and Harper Acree; and his sister Carrie Lindsey of Mt. Washington, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
