It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Esaw Massingale of Coldiron, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on December 14, 2021, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Massingale and Mary Sturgill Massingale; and his brothers, Henry Massingale, Jack Mink and Jerry Mink.
He is survived by: his close friend Jane Biggs; his children, Donna Woodard (Billy), Rebecca Roe (Jerrod) and Thomas Bracken (Tammy); and his siblings, Charles Massingale, Calvin Massingale (Betty), Tom Massingale (Nancy) of Tompkinsville, KY, George Massingale (Freida) of Knoxville, TN, Joe Massingale (Paula) of London, KY and Martha Hendricks (William) of McClain, MS.. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
