It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Robert Thomas (Coldiron, Kentucky), born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on September 30, 2019, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven Edridge Thomas and Martha York Thomas; his wife Freda Caldwell Thomas; and his brothers, James Walter Thomas and Steven Lee Thomas.
He is survived by: his daughters, Connie Brock (Freddie), Tammy Roark (Kenneth), Robin Blevins (Jeremy) and Christine Brooks; his grandchildren, Isaiah Roark and Carrie Brock; his sisters, Della Hansel (Jack), Theresa Lynn Ingram, Anna Beatrice Irvin (Jerry) and Etta June Ingram; and his siblings-in-law, Berton Caldwell, Elsie Vaugh, Jessie Muncy and Penny Thomas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
