She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Burkhart and Mary Sullivan Burkhart; her husband Wayne Gilbert; her daughter Lisa Gilbert; her son-in-law Danny Yount; and her siblings, James "Jim" Burkhart, Walter Burkhart, Wayne Burkhart, Myrtle Shackleford, Katherine Thomas, Susie Stokes and Martha Moretti.
She is survived by: her daughters, Connie Burkhart of Barbourville, Mary Yount of London and Claudia Rowe (Wayne) of Coldiron. She is also survived by six grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM.
