It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Sue McVey of Coldiron, Kentucky, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on November 22, 2022, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Allen McVey; her parents, Jeff Ward and Lola Wynn Ward; and her siblings, Walter Ward, Clarence Ward, Homer Ward and Gladys Creech.
She is survived by: her children, Allie Vanessa Manning, Patty Bates, Mark McVey and Billy McVey (Kacey); her sisters, Ann Farmer, Emily, Phyllis Robinson, Vickie Farmer (Harlan), Norma (Georgia) and Linda Osborne (Georgia); and her grandchildren, Amanda Hensley (Adam), Miranda Elliott (Matthew), Brandon Manning (Elizabeth), Brianna Lawson (Tyler), Jeffery McVey and Hayden McVey. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
