She is survived by: her children, Kathy Short (Big), Jeff Short of Keokee, VA, Donna Deweese (Harry) of Dayhoit, KY, Cheyenne Short (Barb) of Closplint, KY and Scottie Short (Roslyn) of Wise, VA.; her grandchildren, Farrahan Short, Shawna Henery (Tim), Alexis Simpson (Kevin), Lance Short (Taylor), Stephanie Irvin (Tyler) and Tracy Shworles (Greg); and her cousin Viola Wynn. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, other family and friends.
