She was predeceased by: her son Kelly Thomas; and her father Rufus J. "R. J.". She is survived by: her close friend Bill Witt; her daughter Misty Thomas Clark (Toby); and her brothers, Preston Kelly (Barb), Mack Kelly (Norma) and Terry Kelly (Sonja). She is also survived by her dog that she adored, Duke; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Out of concern for COVID-19, her family has requested that her services be private, for immediate family only.
