He was predeceased by: his parents, Shelby Griffith and Dorothy Caudill Griffith Wynn; and his siblings, Mary, Martha Griffith, Dennis, Wendell, Benny and Terry Griffith.
He is survived by: his children, Joshua Griffith, Robert Griffith (Paula) and Catherine Griffith; his siblings, Judy Short, Mona Griffith, Pansy Short (Joe), Elaine Davis (Mike) of Jonesville, VA, Jasper Griffith (Shirley) of Winter Haven, FL, Bige Griffith of Lafollette, TN, Kenneth Griffith, Jerry Griffith of Stanford, KY and Mack Griffith; his grandchildren, Vanessa, Noah and Jayden Griffith; and his close friends, Darrel Burgan and Ginger Herron. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
His family has asked that everyone attending to please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be paid toward his funeral expense.
