He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Lee and Delcie Louise Cagle Byassee; and his brothers, Russell Wayne Byassee, Maurice Byassee and Harold Byassee.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Johnson Byassee of Clinton; his brother Jack Byassee of Clinton; and his stepchildren, Steven Lee of Hanover and Debra Lee of Jackson Michigan. He is also survived by 4 step-grandchildren, 6 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
