He was predeceased by: his wife Peachie Cagle Curling; his parents, Pink Lee and Gertrude Cunningham Curling; his son Nicky Curling; and his nephew Lennis Ray Dodson.
He is survived by: his son Terry Timothy Curling; his granddaughters, Theresa Curlin and Alicia Curling Massey; his great grandchildren, Collier Joe Curlin and Luca Massey; his nieces, Dotty Burcham (Kenneth), Paulette McGill (Pat), Stella Mathis (late Neil), Pauline Smithmyer (late Lawrence) and Debra Cates (Damon); and his nephew Roger Curlin (Coretta).
