In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Jan leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Jan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Grierson and Opal Weatherly Grierson. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Garland of Clinton; her daughter Melanie Blalock (Tim) of Mayfield; her grandchildren, Trent Stairs of Clinton and Gracie Stairs of Mayfield; and her stepchildren, Kathy Tolbird of Cunningham, Jeri Reamer of Paducah, Beth Henson of Hardin and Jonathan Garland of Texas. She is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Brown Funeral Home - Clinton (420 Mayfield Rd, Clinton, KY 42031). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
