He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilbur and Seley Dell Smith Horton; and his brother Christopher Horton. He is survived by: his wife Janet Wooten Horton of Clinton; his nephew David Horton of Texas; and his great-nephew Mark Fletcher of Texas.
