She was predeceased by: her parents, Brantley Rudd and Dora Stringer Rudd; her former husband John Houston Irby, Jr.; her husband William F. Luther; and her children, Kay Irby and John "Sonney" Irby.
She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Irby Huff (Mike) of Clinton; and her grandchildren, Mark Irby (Barbi) of Owensboro, Houston Irby of Portland, OR, Dale Bean of Clinton, Leslie Butler (Bob) and Anthony Stone (Becky). She is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren.
